Product Overview
Bag Filter Machine is designed for reliable industrial operation. Its configuration can be customized to match the process medium, flow rate, pressure, temperature and required filtration accuracy.
The bag filter is a compact, energy-efficient and versatile pressure filtration system. A metal basket supports the filter bag inside the housing. Liquid enters through the inlet, passes through the bag and exits through the outlet, while contaminants are retained in the bag. Replacing the bag is quick and the filtration process produces very little material waste.
Available configurations include turtleback, single-bag, multi-bag and quick-opening bag filters.
Construction and Working Principle
The bag filter is a pressure vessel consisting primarily of a housing, tube sheet, basket and filter bag. Liquid flows from the inlet into the bag installed inside the basket. The selected bag rating produces the required filtrate, while particles are retained in the bag. Bag replacement is convenient and material consumption is minimal.
The process medium enters through the inlet and is separated or cleaned as it passes through the equipment. Filtered material exits through the outlet while captured contaminants are removed during maintenance or the automatic cleaning cycle.
